Technical cork stoppers are technically advanced and allow a good sealing of a wine of considerable value.

They are mainly manufactured for entry level wines, which could benefit from short-term ageing (three to four years).

Usually known as 1+1, they consist of an agglomerate body made up of cork granules, with a disc at each end that is also made of natural cork. This product presents a visible natural cork face for both the wine and the consumer, maintaining similar properties to natural cork stoppers.

There are 2 types of technical cork stoppers: SILKTOP® and SILKTOP ADVANCED®.

The production process involves moulding – a process for producing agglomerated bodies – and cutting edge technology, which guarantees the best quality of the technical cork stoppers.
